Since Groundwork Project was founded, our “wraparound support” approach has remained the same, resulting in wins for voting rights, abortion rights, and more in the states and regions too often written off.

In a moment, we’re going to ask you to pitch in $10 toward our partners’ efforts to advocate for their communities, but first, we hope you’ll give us just a moment to explain what exactly wraparound support means to us.

By providing wraparound support to our partners, we’re able to help changemakers across Appalachia, the Deep South, and the Plains with whatever they need 24/7, 365.

We like to break it down into three categories:

💰 Capital: Our multi-year, unrestricted capital commitments fall under this category and give organizers the funds they need to complete projects and fulfill their mission.

🤝 Community: We’re fostering an engaged, diverse cross-state partner network that organizers use to build a national support system and share challenges, victories, and best practices with other organizers who know what it’s like to work in such tough places.

📊 Capacity: So much happens under the hood to keep these organizations running, and we’re here to help our partners with things like data management, volunteer recruitment, social media, and more.

As you can see, Groundwork Project is here to not only help provide funding for our partners but to help with all the other challenges that come with running an organization. That way, our partners can dedicate the majority of their time to making progress.
