Hi John,

I took a break last week to spend some time at the North Carolina State Fair (you can check out a photo if you keep reading this email 👇) and talking with folks around the fairgrounds. I was glad to have the chance to ask them about what they hope to see from our campaign and what they want us to fix in Washington — and to share a few of my priorities, too. I’d like to share them with you, if you can spare another minute or so this morning.

But first, with our October fundraising deadline just a couple of days away, I have to ask you to invest in our campaign with a donation of any size. Just click here. [[link removed]]

🎒 Investing in Public Education: I’m a proud graduate of NC public schools, and I know that our future leaders are learning in public schools today. Every child across this nation deserves access to an excellent education, no matter where their parents live or what they earn. I’ll make public education a priority in the Senate.

🩺 Making Health Care More Affordable & Accessible: As Governor, I fought to get Medicaid Expansion passed, bringing health care to more than 675,000 North Carolinians. As the next Democratic Senator from NC, I will fight back against the GOP’s attempt to rip Medicaid and Medicare away from millions of Americans.

🗳️ Defending Voting Rights: To secure their own power, Republicans in NC and across the country are attacking the rights of voters. I will stand up against these attacks and defend the fundamental right to participate in our democracy.

John, I am ready to get to work in Washington for all Americans, but I can’t do so unless we defeat my MAGA opponent and win this toss-up election. The national GOP is planning to spend hundreds of millions against me, so we can’t risk falling behind. I’m asking you to give whatever is right for you to help us meet our $800,000 October goal to stay on track. [[link removed]]

Democrat Roy Cooper is running for U.S. Senate to help take back the Majority for Democrats. North Carolina is Democrats’ best chance to flip a seat from red to blue — the path to stopping Republicans in Washington starts here.

National Republicans will target North Carolina as a key battleground and invest heavily in defeating us.

Cooper is a former state legislator, Attorney General, and most recently Governor of North Carolina. North Carolina will be the most competitive Senate election of 2026, and Cooper enters the race as the most formidable candidate of either party.

Cooper’s signature achievements include helping to expand Medicaid and helping make NC the top state for business by creating thousands of jobs and growing the clean energy economy.

Donate today to help win this seat and flip the Senate blue. [[link removed]]
