I have a simple question for you: do you think Democrats should hold the line on the government shutdown?

Today marks Day 27 of the government shutdown – and here’s where things stand:

* Polls show voters blame TRUMP & REPUBLICANS for the shutdown


* Trump is traveling out of the country and refuses to negotiate


* Speaker Johnson has kept the House CLOSED for weeks


* Some Senate Republicans are interested in a deal – but Trump is standing in the way



Meanwhile, government workers are beginning to miss paychecks, critical programs like SNAP food assistance are running out of money, and open enrollment for the Affordable Care Act starts in just a few days as premiums are beginning to skyrocket.

Republicans control the House, Senate, and White House. Some have suggested that Democrats should cave and vote to reopen the government – even if it means health care costs for millions will explode. But I want to know what you think…
