GOOD NEWS: House Speaker Mike Johnson has announced that he will allow a floor vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act, Rep. Massie’s and my bill to release the full Epstein files to the public, once the House returns to session and our discharge petition reaches 218 signatures.

BAD NEWS: Speaker Johnson still won’t swear in Adelita Grijalva, the newly elected representative for Arizona’s 7th Congressional District, and our final signature needed to get our discharge petition over the finish line. Johnson refuses to swear her in until the government reopens, despite having sworn in two Republican House members.

Releasing the Epstein files should not be a partisan issue. Americans deserve to know who is in those files, regardless of wealth, status, or party affiliation. Epstein’s survivors deserve justice.

Make no mistake—the truth will come out. I will not be intimidated by Republicans attempting to bury it. Every member of Congress must go on record and decide whether they will support corruption by the rich and powerful or stand up for transparency.
