There are just 10 days left until Election Day in California—which means the clock is ticking to make sure voters cast their ballots in the Prop 50 election!
Also known as the Election Rigging Response Act, Prop 50 would temporarily redraw California’s congressional maps to help mitigate map redraws by Republican controlled-states and ensure Democrats still have a shot at flipping the House in next year’s midterms.
That’s why we’re asking you to sign up for a phone bank shift to call California voters today.
The Bay Area Coalition (made up of multiple Swing Left groups!) is hosting three shifts—one today at 5pm ET / 2pm PT, and two on November 1—so you can pick the date and time that works best for you.
The outcome of this race could shape which party controls the House after the midterms, and while polls show a majority of California voters support the measure, turnout will be absolutely critical.
Swing Left is going all out to make sure the measure passes, but we can’t do it without your help!
