Friend, autumn in Ohio is a magical time of the year.

Corn mazes, pumpkin and apple picking, and bonfires. Children in Halloween costumes, crunching through fallen leaves. Traditions like the Apple Festival Parade in Oak Harbor and the county fairs.
These things are all part of what makes Northern Ohio home.
Growing up here in Toledo, we never had much money. My parents didn't have a college education, and my grandparents were Polish immigrants who came to this country with little more than what they could carry.
But they made a good life for us here, the same way so many Ohioans did: with hard work, perseverance, and the support of their community.
I've never stopped fighting for this little corner of Northern Ohio, friend, because it's my home too.
Thank you for being in that work with me.
