Hi there – and welcome to the new edition of the Berge Bulletin, your one-stop shop for what’s going on in the campaign and how you can get involved. |

10.18.25 was a beautiful day for democracy. I joined No Kings protests in Wisconsin Rapids, Sparta, and La Crosse. The energy was tremendous on the ground. People are showing up out of love for our country. We fight for what we love and I am proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with you all. |
I ended that day with the La Crosse County Democratic Party Fall Dinner where the good energy continued. People are fired up for a candidate with a track record of standing up to DVO and Trump’s belligerence and bullying. Let's keep the fight going! |

Throughout this shutdown, Rep. Mark Pocan has adopted us since our Congressional Rep - Derrick Van Orden - refuses to have an in person public townhall. |
Over two days, he made stops throughout the 3rd CD and I (or BFC team members) joined him at Viroqua, La Crosse, Eau Claire, Black River Falls and Stevens Point. I admire Rep. Pocan’s commitment to showing up; this is the type of Congress Rep I strive to be and is how I am running my campaign. Candidate or elected, it is important to be available to the public. |
I joined the Indigenous People's Day celebration in La Crosse. It's important to honor and celebrate the strength and leadership of Indigenous communities today and every day. |
I had an awesome time serving folks at Shift Coffee in downtown Eau Claire. Saw familiar faces and met new people while having good conversations. ~ gov. shut down impacts on healthcare ~ the implications of when gov. goes after EDI programs ~ the benefits of electing someone with a mental health background ~ and more. |
We celebrated Hmong New Year and the 50th anniversary of the first Hmong refugees coming to the US! Such a joyful and vibrant event! |
We attended UW-Platteville's Homecoming Parade. We walked with the Democratic Party of Grant County, Wisconsin float and we received lots of claps and cheers along the route! It was a sunny and happy day. |
I joined Frank on Viroqua's community radio WRDT to talk issues impacting the 3rd CD, our campaign's momentum, and my background as a counselor and highest elected official in the largest city in the district. |
