Election Day in Virginia is less than two weeks away, folks.

Voters will decide whether to expand our razor-thin Democratic majority in the legislature and flip the Governorship from Republican to Democratic.

I could give you a list of Democratic candidates I believe deserve your support – frankly, there’s a lot of them.

Instead, I simply want to say that these results will have far reaching consequences for the Commonwealth.

Think about it: Trump has driven up unemployment, fired thousands of federal workers, and he continues to put Virginians' livelihoods at risk, all while cutting taxes for the wealthiest Americans.

While I lead the fight in Washington to hold him accountable for his chaos and corruption, I know I can count on my fellow Democrats in Richmond to do the same. But that fight would change dramatically if Republicans gain more control of the Commonwealth or defeat me next year.

The very last thing we need is for Trump to buy his allies even more power in Virginia and Washington.

So I’m asking: will you pitch in to my reelection campaign today to keep Virginia blue and protect this Senate seat so we can keep up the fight to hold the Trump administration accountable?
