1. LOBBY DAY: Volunteers from 12 states held 35 meetings on Capitol Hill to champion Head Start and humanitarian assistance. 
2. HEAD START: Despite ongoing threats, you protected support for 750,000+ kids across the country. 

3. FOREIGN AID FOR KIDS: Maternal, newborn and child health programs were excluded from July’s recissions package, an important sign of congressional support.   

4. PARENT POWER: To celebrate National Parents’ Day, we featured our Family Engagement volunteers on a national webinar with a special message from Congressman Gabe Vasquez.  
5. VIRGINIA ELECTIONS: We proudly endorsed Abigail Spanberger for Governor – and our largest-ever bipartisan slate of candidates for the House of Delegates. 
6. MOMENTUM IN IOWA: Volunteers sharpened their advocacy skills, learned about key issues and made the news at a statewide summit. 
7. BALLOT MEASURES: We launched campaigns to expand school meals in Colorado and increase early learning access in Seattle.
