** What’s new at PAWS

Halloween isn’t the only time for ‘Trick or Treat’ – pets love learning all year long. At PAWS, we believe that training is more than shaking paws or rolling over for a cookie. Training has the power to transform animals’ lives by helping them overcome insecurities, harness energy in positive ways, and build trust. Most importantly, training teaches pets how to be part of a family.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a disease in cats commonly known as FIP, was previously a death sentence — now, thanks to a revolutionary treatment and PAWS Chicago’s expert care, little Wallabee’s story is one of hope and healing.

Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest

Visit Time Out Market on Sunday, October 26, from 1-3 p.m. for a scary cute pet costume contest and join PAWS Chicago volunteers and local, pet-friendly vendors for a festive afternoon event! Enjoy music, food, festivitites, and make a new furry friend. Registration is free and available online in advance.

Halloween Party at Andros Taverna

This Sunday, October 26, from 1-3 p.m., bring your pet for an afternoon party including a raffle with neighborhood prizes, pup menu and a portion of sales benefiting PAWS Chicago. No tickets are necessary, but reservations are recommended.
