Over the next couple of weeks, Californians will continue to receive notifications that their healthcare is going to get more expensive because of the Republican’s cruel budget.

House Republicans are nowhere to be found this week (as usual), but I’m in DC working to lower costs and protect your healthcare.

If Congress doesn’t renew ACA tax credits, millions of Californians will face massive premium hikes, or lose coverage entirely. In my district alone, over 47,000 could see premiums spike up to 300%, and more than 13,600 risk losing their care altogether.

Families will pay HUNDREDS of dollars more every month.

These tax credits are the only thing making care affordable for hardworking families.

I’m fighting for solutions that actually lower costs, from expanding access to a public option, to holding insurance companies accountable, to ensuring no one loses coverage because of politics.
