One of my favorite parts of running a campaign has been getting to connect with so many of you in person, and having real, honest conversations about what’s not working for Ohioans.

We’ve talked about everything: from how to engage more voters in our democracy, to fair redistricting, to the rising costs that keep working families up at night. One thing is crystal clear. Ohioans are tired of the political games.

They want the full power of their vote back, and they want leaders who are accountable to them, not to special interests.

But that couldn’t be further from what Republicans in Columbus are doing right now. Even after last month’s deadline, they still can’t even show us their proposed Congressional map for Ohioans to see.

Their failure is a direct insult to every voter who demanded fair districts, and it’s a stark reminder of why this office matters. We need a Secretary of State who sees the role not as a partisan weapon, but as a defender of democracy.

I’m in this fight to become the Secretary of State you deserve — one who strengthens our elections, protects every eligible voter’s right to cast a ballot, and ensures that your voice is finally heard in the halls of power.
