This week is National Estate Planning Awareness Week—a reminder that one of the kindest gifts we can give ourselves and our loved ones is peace of mind about the future.

Making or updating your will is a powerful way to make sure your wishes are honored and that the people and causes closest to your heart are supported.

CREATE YOUR WILL

With our partner FreeWill, you can create a legal will in about 20 minutes—at no cost to you. Along with your will, you can also complete an Advance Healthcare Directive (AHCD)—a simple step to ensure your voice is heard and your loved ones are supported if you’re ever unable to speak for yourself. If you have non-probate assets, such as a 401(k) or IRA, you can use this tool to designate beneficiaries as well.

Many in our community choose to also include an optional gift to Transgender Law Center, helping us continue building a world where all people can live authentically. It’s an entirely optional yet meaningful way to extend your impact.
