Then, JD Vance came to Indiana twice to push Indiana lawmakers to join the effort and manipulate Indiana’s maps to try to make Frank’s district more favorable to them. 

Now, Donald Trump is getting directly involved in Indiana. He phoned into a private Indiana Senate Republican caucus meeting to pressure lawmakers to undertake mid-cycle redistricting.

Taking back the House majority is our best opportunity to put a stop to Republicans’ extreme agenda and have some accountability for Donald Trump. That’s why they’re pulling out all the stops to cling to power in any way they can. 

Their agenda is deeply unpopular. Their president is deeply unpopular. And they know that the only way they’re going to hold onto the Majority and continue another two years of chaos, division, and extremism, is to cheat. 

Donald Trump believes he’s “entitled” to more GOP seats in the House, and the Republican party is falling in line by passing maps that could hand them more congressional seats before a single vote is cast in 2026.
