Learn More button - blue [ [link removed] ] The date has been set for the Barton-Bandemer Pedestrian Tunnel Grand Opening Ceremony [ [link removed] ] ... Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at 1 p.m.! The City of Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission officials will join with the community and project partners for a brief program and ceremonial ribbon cutting, celebrating the many benefits the highly anticipated project [ [link removed] ] completion brings. And there will also be limited-edition swag to pick up, while supplies last! The project's public art installation artist, Tatum Lowry, will be on hand as well to talk about her creative inspiration. The pedestrian tunnel, located on the city's northwest side, will connect the new segment of the Border to Border (B2B) Trail in Barton Nature Area with the existing B2B Trail network in Bandemer Park and more than 20 miles to the east.
