Let’s make something clear: the Constitution is not up for grabs. It belongs to us — the people. Yet right now, a handful of extremist judges are helping Trump consolidate power and dismantle our democracy.
Since the beginning of Trump’s term, too many judges have complied with this administration’s tyrannical and arbitrary whims without protest, dismantling democracy for Trump’s own personal gain.
Some have condoned racial profiling. Some have allowed immigrants to be deported without due process. And some have even gone so far as to suggest that they’ll chuck decades of precedent out the window so Trump can fire agency heads with impunity. This is authoritarianism.
John, our democracy is at a breaking point. The Constitution is being hijacked by a handful of disingenuous actors determined to consolidate power, silence dissent, and rewrite the rules for their benefit.
But the Constitution was built to serve and protect the people — not the powerful few. And it’s on us to defend it.
That means embracing our collective role in safeguarding and upholding the Constitution, and shaping the future of our country. It means pursuing the democratic promise of the Constitution by fighting for a government that actually reflects the will of the people.
Demand Justice was built for this moment — and we don’t intend on backing down. We’re on the front lines, fighting to stop extremist judges from rigging the Courts against everyday people and pushing back against the attacks on our rights and our democracy.
