Bane’s second order of business was to establish kangaroo courts to pass sentences on their enemies, creating a veneer of “justice” and legitimacy to cloak the nihilistic power grab behind it. Donald Trump has likewise pardoned thousands of J6 rioters and criminals, and he has weaponized the federal government to target anyone who opposes him. The DOJ is run by a lapdog who takes direct orders from Trump to prosecute the people who brought him to justice, like New York AG Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey. And now Trump is even planning to use the IRS to intimidate, investigate, and persecute his enemies:  Independent state courts are one of our last lines of protection. Trump wants to stack these courts with MAGA loyalists who will rubber stamp his revenge tour, turning impartial courts into MAGA Trump Tribunals. On November 4, PA will decide whether to retain 3 Democratic justices on the state Supreme Court. MAGA is trying to trick voters into throwing out all three in a single election—resulting in utter chaos and creating an opening for MAGA judges to rule over our most important swing state. Right now, Defend Our Courts is one of the only groups standing in his way. But the outcome is far from certain. We could lose.
