John McCain

Sunday, August 25th marks the one year anniversary since the passing of Sen.
John McCain.


Much has happened since that time and much has stayed the same. But the legacy
of Sen. McCain lives on and grows stronger each day.

 

When I think back, some of the things that I most admired about John were his
underlying faith and love of his country, and his willingness to stand up and
do what was best. There will never be another John McCain and we can all learn
so much from him.


Sen. McCain was a fearless champion for our international alliances and fought
for much of his life to ensure that our western values were at the forefront of
our diplomatic and economic relationships with other nations. The world was
quite literally a safer and more free place because his leadership.
