On September 19, 2010, in Kandahar, Afghanistan, my mission was to find and disarm bombs before my team walked into them. It was a job I accepted because protecting my brothers mattered more than protecting myself.
That was the night I found my last bomb—by stepping on it.
The explosion took both of my legs and a finger. But it didn’t take my will to fight.
I made a promise in that hospital bed that the greatest service I give to America would never be behind me. That’s why I’m still serving today—in Congress, beside President Trump, fighting to defend freedom at home.
But now the threat isn’t roadside bombs. It’s a radical Left determined to tear this country apart. They’re trying to erase our history, undermine our families, open our borders, and bankrupt our future.
Chuck Schumer even actually said, “Every day gets better” for Democrats after they shut down the government—while Americans were missing paychecks, airports faced massive delays, and military families were forced to turn to food banks.
Chuck doesn’t care, as long as the radical Left is happy. They’d gladly see the country fail to hurt Donald Trump.
I didn’t lose my legs for this country just to watch it fall.
That’s why I’m asking: will you stand with me in this mission?
