As I’ve said previously, when the Democrats shut down the government at the start of the month, I paused all of our fundraising.

The last thing I wanted to do was bother you with emails and texts at a time when millions of Americans are struggling because the Democrats decided to hold our country hostage to try and benefit illegals at your expense.

In fact, I believe so strongly that the American people need to see that YOU are our ONLY priority that I’ve had my own salary withheld during the Democrats’ senseless shutdown.

But while we were paused, the Democrats kept right on fundraising…

Honestly, we should have expected nothing less from a party so radical that they were willing to shut down the government in order to give healthcare to illegals!

As the Democrats continued to fundraise, I realized we couldn’t remain paused and allow them to take advantage of the shutdown to gain an edge for the midterms.

…Especially not when we’re locked in two battles with razor-thin margins:

Right now, we’re just 1 SEAT over the threshold to declare a majority in the House and the latest polling shows me BEATING Kathy Hochul by 1-POINT once voters are made aware of our positions.

But because of our pause, we’re now starting off October a week behind on fundraising.

Earlier this year, you helped me make up 5 months of fundraising in just a few weeks. Now, I need your help making up this week of fundraising in just a few days.

If there’s any group of grassroots Americans who can pull it off, it’s my supporters. You’ve always come through for me when I needed it most.

And now more than ever, I’m counting on your support, John.

We’ve fought so hard to both DEFEND the House and get into a position where, with the right messaging and support, we can BEAT Kathy Hochul and SAVE New York.

It would be devastating to squander that opportunity because we fell behind on fundraising and lacked the resources to tell Americans the TRUTH about Hochul and the Democrats.

So please, if you can, make a grassroots contribution to help us CATCH UP now that we’re starting off the month a week behind in fundraising – and I’ll ensure it goes FIVE TIMES AS FAR.
