We’re ten days away from No Kings Day, and as of today, we have 2,456
protests registered in all fifty states and across the world. That’s
hundreds more than the total from our massive day of action back in June,
and the momentum isn’t slowing down -- we’re still adding new events to
our map every single day.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the threats from the Trump regime
escalate -- undermining our First Amendment rights, threatening to
illegally withhold pay from federal workers, sending invasion forces into
American cities. But the backlash is growing too, and next week millions
of us will take to the streets, peacefully and defiantly, to remind Trump
that this country has no kings. 

There’s still a ton of work to do before October 18, and these final ten
days will be critical for making No Kings a huge success. The biggest
surge in RSVPs for our June demonstration didn’t happen until the final
week. So, while we’re ahead of pace compared to our last day of action, we
can’t slow down now. 

With our No Kings partners, we’re continuing to expand our promotion and
recruitment work, but we need your help to get as many folks as possible
taking to the streets next week. Here’s what you can do:

in US history. The surge in events is remarkable -- and it means we need
to match that enthusiasm with the resources and support that our groups,
hosts, and volunteers need. If you can spare a donation, please chip in
today. 

Your donations will help fund trainings for hosts, materials (signs,
flags, backdrops, Know Your Rights cards), event support, safety
preparations, and promotion and recruitment tactics like digital ads and
peer-to-peer texting. This week alone, we’ll be sending out nearly one
million texts to boost recruitment and help bring new people into this
movement.
