I’m going to ask you to make your first donation to my campaign, but first, let me explain why.

I’m running for Congress to bring real, qualified leadership to Washington. I’m running because too many Texans are still without healthcare. I’m running because our foreign policy is in shambles because of a feckless President. I’m running because the lack of strong leaders has proven disastrous for our country during this time of crisis.

Supporters from across the country have already built this campaign into what it is today. We’ve had donors from across Texas and the country chip in to get us across the finish line, but I gotta say, I didn’t expect these DC Super PACs with their dark money to try and tell Texans who to vote for.

Across all mediums, these groups have wasted $1.1 million in ads -- most of which contain outright lies about my record of service -- trying to convince the people of TX-24 to vote against me.

The only way we can combat these patently false attacks is by running our own ads, and that is why I’m asking you to make your first contribution to my campaign today.

If we can activate 500 new grassroots donors today, we’ll be able to increase our ad spend and fight back against the lies coming from my opponent’s camp.
