The midterms are just a year away, and voting in this year’s elections has already started for key races in states like Virginia, New Jersey, and California. It’s imperative that these elections—and every future election—run smoothly.
Right now, our team is working across the map directly with election officials to strengthen post-election audit([link removed]) procedures that check election outcomes, and advocating for audit legislation in states that are falling short([link removed]). We’re also ramping up our work with the Election Protection 866-Our-Vote hotline([link removed]) to help ensure that all voters have accurate information and support they need to vote.
These are just a few of Verified Voting’s priorities. All of us have a role to play in making the guardrails of our democracy strong enough to withstand challenges ahead amidst an onslaught of disinformation, federal overreach([link removed]), election official harassment([link removed]), and threats to undermine voter access.This is where your support([link removed]) matters most. Off-election years often generate less revenue for voting nonprofits, and as we enter the fourth quarter, we must maintain full operational capacity to ensure we can continue our vital work advocating for:

Strong chain of custody: Protecting against insider threats.
Protecting election officials: Ensuring front line election workers who administer our elections can do so safely and effectively.
