We all deserve the freedom to vote and make our voice heard. But an extreme group called America First Legal is trying suppress our right to vote by forcing Americans to show specific, costly, hard-to-access documents like passports before registering to vote.

Their good news? We have a chance to stop this anti-democratic assault on our voting rights.

Right now, the Election Assistance Commission is taking public comments — from people like you — to gather input on whether they should adopt this anti-voter initiative. This is our chance to stop a harmful barrier to voter registration!

If passed, this new rule would stop up to 21 million eligible voters from registering to vote, particularly rural folks, students, women, and communities of color.

We’ve heard that more than 200,000 anti-voter extremists have already left comments in favor of voter suppression. 

Use your voice to fight back! Let the commission know you oppose this rule change, and how it would harm you, your community, and our democracy.
