Trophy hunters claim they are helping conservation and communities, but we see no evidence to support these myths.

Trophy hunting does not help conservation, local communities do not benefit from trophy hunting to any significant degree, and trophy hunting’s contribution to the economy is negligible.
We have recently launched a report, Trophy Hunting: Busting the myths and exposing the cruelty, to examine the scale, scope and impact of trophy hunting and debunk the claims made by trophy hunters.
Born Free is opposed to the killing of any animal for sport or pleasure and we want trophy hunting banned.

Together we can end this barbaric sport. Your gift today will help us:
- Campaign for an end to trophy hunting across the world
- Work with airlines and shipping companies to ban the transportation of trophies
- Put pressure on the UK and other governments to introduce a ban on the import of hunting trophies
- Ensure the captive breeding of lions and other predators for canned hunting and other commercial purposes is brought to an end.
