John — In case you haven’t been paying attention, there are two incredibly important, competitive elections happening in less than one month.

I want to tell you about my friends Abigail Spanberger and Mikie Sherrill, who are running for governor of Virginia and New Jersey, respectively. 

But first, will you split a contribution between their campaigns and my work to elect Democrats across the country this year and beyond?

I served alongside Mikie and Abigail in the House of Representatives, where I saw them stand up for our democracy and our freedoms. They are total badasses.

I know they both have what it takes to deliver for the people they represent. They’re dedicated to building an economy that works for everyone, protecting our democracy, and fighting for what's right as we face the most corrupt presidential administration in history.

Electing Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger as governors of New Jersey and Virginia will send a resounding message.

But to prove they can win their high-stakes races and defeat the GOP, we need to have their backs.
