What the Democrats will do if they win big in 2020...

"Intent on not repeating the mistakes of 2010 under then-President Barack Obama, the [Democratic] party is seizing on a once-in-a-decade opportunity to drive the redistricting process — and reverse the built-in advantage Republicans amassed over House district lines after the last census." If Democrats win big in November, they're planning to use the new-found power to re-draw U.S. House and state legislative districts to make the map blue.

After each U.S. Census (and this is a Census year!), the House and state legislative district lines are re-drawn to align with population shifts since the last one. If Democrats have the majority in enough key states, that will be sufficient for the maps to be re-drawn as they'd like.

This issue is such a priority for the left that President Obama and his former Attorney General Eric Holder created a group called the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, which POLITICO described as "a centralized redistricting hub on the Democratic side."

George Soros is "on pace" to spend 2X as much in 2020 as he did in 2016.

"Soros's big investments in the 2020 race have gone into the coffers of the Democracy PAC, a super PAC that passes money to other liberal PACs working to defeat Trump and congressional Republicans. The super PAC has received $40 million—double the $20 million Soros spent on Democratic efforts during the 2016 election cycle—from both Soros and a nonprofit in his sprawling network." George Soros is "on pace to double his 2016 election spending as he works to oust President Donald Trump."

As the Washington Free Beacon reported, both Soros and a related group have donated $40 million to a super PAC that distributes money across left-leaning PACs involved in the 2020 election. That's twice what he reportedly spent in 2016.

A top VP contender shows how far left the Democratic Party has moved.

"On Sunday, Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL), one of the women being discussed as a potential running mate for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, signaled that she was open to the idea of taking down monuments to the Founding Fathers." (Daily Wire)

How far left has the Democratic Party gone?

As the Daily Wire reported, five years ago, Sen. Tammy Duckworth tweeted about a patriotic Fourth of July outfit and said that she'd "[go] as Mount Rushmore" the following year.

This Independence Day weekend, Sen. Duckworth -- who's now a top contender for the job as Joe Biden's VP -- indicated that she was "open to the idea of taking down monuments to the Founding Fathers."

Biden turns to Instagram to try to catch up to Pres. Trump's social media prowess.

"The campaign, called #TeamJoeTalks, is an attempt to open up a new front on social media, drawing on celebrities’ Instagram followers to help find and motivate voters while large parts of the country remain locked down." (Axios)

President Trump's digital efforts have far outpaced the left -- and so the left is now turning to Instagram and celebrities for help. Biden campaign surrogates will join famous stars on their Instagram accounts for discussions live-streamed to the stars' followers on the platform.

Biden has led the public complaints from the left against Facebook. (Facebook acquired Instagram in 2012.) But of course, there's now no mention of Biden turning to a Facebook-owned platform for a campaign boost.
