We praise God for the launch of three new survivor groups in Honduras and El Salvador, a powerful step toward healing and empowerment. We thank Him for partners whose support made these groups possible, and for the survivors’ active participation in shaping their identity. Please pray for wisdom as these groups grow, define their values and prepare for an advocacy workshop next month.
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the successful unveiling of IJM Ghana’s Prevalence Study on Child Labour and Trafficking in the Lake Volta region. We thank Him for bringing key partners together and for the positive reception and meaningful contributions that will help shape next steps. Please pray that this data leads to bold policies and programs that protect children.
South Asia
Thank you for praying for the launch of IJM’s newest anti-trafficking program in Bangladesh. On September 17, more than 200 government officials, survivor leaders and global experts gathered in Dhaka to unveil a five-year initiative aiming to cut commercial sexual exploitation of children by at least 50% and protect 6.5 million children. Please pray for strong collaboration among partners, effective law enforcement and lasting change so every child in Bangladesh can live in safety and freedom.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the strengthened collaboration between the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), the Philippine government, NGOs and advocates to combat IT-facilitated trafficking, including the online sexual exploitation of children. We thank God for the fruitful discussions at the IACAT NGO Summit and for partners committed to protecting vulnerable children. Please pray for continued unity and perseverance until every child in the Philippines is free from exploitation.
