35 Roosters Urgently Need Permanent Homes

Roosters of Ragnarok, a non-profit chicken sanctuary based in South New Jersey, has been assisting Good Sprout Rescue and Sanctuary with a large cockfighting bust in Pennsylvania, where over 250 chickens were seized. This case has been unusual—normally survivors in this region are euthanized—but thanks to Good Sprout Rescue, these birds were given a chance at life.

Since June 23rd, Audrey (founder of Good Sprout) has been working tirelessly to secure safe placements. However, 35 roosters still urgently need permanent homes, and time is running out. The current site is unsafe for them to make it through the winter. If you can help these 35 roosters and their hen friends find safe, permanent homes, please reach out to Roosters of Ragnarok at [email protected] or Good Sprout Rescue and Sanctuary at [email protected].
