Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

September 29, 2025
Dear John xxxxxx,

Every year, Hispanic Heritage Month reminds us of the rich history, culture, and contributions of Latinos across the United States. Our community has always played a vital role in shaping America’s story.

Hispanic Heritage Month started as a week-long celebration in 1968, signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson. In 1988, President Ronald Reagan expanded it to a full 30-day period, recognizing the growing influence and rich cultural heritage of Hispanic and Latino Americans in shaping the nation.
