I just went on MSNBC to call out Trump’s cowardly decision to send troops into Portland:

I’ve held 18 town halls this year across our district, and not once has anyone said we need President Trump to send troops into our city. Not once.

But yesterday, President Trump authorized the “full force” of the military against his own people.

We don’t need or want Trump’s troops in Portland, and I’m going to do everything I can to protect our community and fight back.

In this critical moment, we need all hands on deck to send a clear message to President Trump that we won’t stand for his cowardly abuse of power. So I’m asking you: will you donate a few dollars right now to join our fight to stop Trump’s attacks on our community and stand up for Oregon?
