Since Trump launched Operation Midway Blitz, Chicago has become one the nation’s flashpoints of peaceful resistance to Trump. Thousands have gathered outside of ICE’s Broadview facility in peaceful protest. Families. Students. Neighbors. Ordinary Americans.

And how has ICE responded? With violence. Tear gas. Pepper bullets. Beatings. Manufactured chaos.



Trump doesn’t want peace — he wants a pretext. After Charlie Kirk’s assassination, he used the tragedy to push for persecution of Democrats. Now, Attorney General Pam Bondi is taking it a step further, deploying heavily armed DOJ agents to Broadview and unleashing the Joint Terrorism Task Force to brand peaceful protesters as “domestic terrorists.”



The government is manufacturing crises, attacking peaceful protesters, and labeling Democrats as terrorists.

Fascism is here. The question voters now want to hear their members of Congress and candidates answer is this: what are we going to do about it?

I’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with my community against ICE long before I was a candidate — and I will not stop. And when I am elected as the next Congresswoman for IL-9, I will:

• Push to subpoena ICE and Trump officials to testify publicly about their crimes in front of the House Judiciary Committee when Dems take back Congress in 2026.

• Use my Congressional authority to inspect ICE facilities like Broadview to find out what they are hiding behind those newly installed chainlink fences.

• Introduce legislation to end Trump’s deportation machine and rein in his executive abuse.
