Friend,

I wanted to share something personal about why this fight means everything to me.

My mother, Miriam, fled Communist Cuba with nothing — penniless and homeless, but determined to find freedom in America. She came to Virginia and raised me to appreciate what we have here: freedom, fairness, and justice for all.

Nearly fifty years later, she was able to vote for me to represent her in the Virginia House of Delegates. That moment — watching my mother cast that ballot — reminded me of what we're really fighting for.

Today, I'm the proud father of three girls. And as Virginia's Attorney General, I've spent every day working to protect the future they'll inherit.

We've secured over $1 billion from Big Pharma to fight the opioid crisis that's destroyed too many families. We launched Operation Ceasefire, cutting violent crime and homicides to record levels. We stood up to school boards when they failed our children — and we got justice.

DEFEND VIRGINIA'S FUTURE

This November, the choice is clear. Jay Jones wants political revenge. I want to keep Virginia moving forward.

From the son of a Cuban refugee to Virginia's first Latino statewide elected official — this is my story. This is our fight.

Will you stand with me?

Jason Miyares,

Attorney General of Virginia
