One thing I’ve learned in public service is that integrity matters. When people lose trust in their government, our democracy suffers. That’s why I’ve made it my goal in the Senate to put honesty and service above politics, and why I’m proud to stand with Nellie Pou.
Right now, Nellie is under attack from the NRCC. They’re manufacturing fake memos, stamping them with the Democratic logo, and handing them to reporters as if they were real. It’s dishonest. It’s desperate. And it’s exactly what’s wrong with our politics today.
But this is just the beginning. Republicans have already rolled out waves of false ads and are prepared to spend millions in shady Super PAC money to bury Nellie in lies. Why? Because they know NJ-09 is one of the most competitive districts in the country.
Here are the facts:
- Trump carried NJ-09 in 2024.
- Nellie is a frontline Democrat.
- If Republicans flip this seat, they keep their majority in Congress.
We can’t let that happen.
Nellie is fighting for the truth, for working families, and for a Congress that serves the people — not special interests. I know firsthand how hard this fight is, and I know what it takes to win it.
