Hi there. It’s Vann, Chris Pappas’s husband. I know I don’t write to you
often, so I hope you’ll let me explain why I am today.
Sometimes Chris and I can get a little competitive... Whether it’s
Scrabble during game nights or our daily New York Times mini crossword
puzzle, our friends and family would agree we take games pretty seriously
in our house.
With Chris’s focus on his big end-of-quarter deadline in a few days, I
challenged him to a friendly bet to see who can raise more grassroots
money before September 30th. I told Chris that I could write a fundraising
email that would blow his numbers out of the water.
And now I’m counting on your help to back that up.
Here’s the deal: If you donate to this email, your donation goes on my
side of the scoreboard. If I win, Chris has to make me dinner next week –
and I get bragging rights until the end of the next quarter. If you’re

I can’t tell you how important this deadline is for Chris. He’s working
hard to raise the money he needs to win this U.S. Senate race in New
Hampshire and keep the Democrats’ path to a majority in play. After he
files his report, everyone will be looking to see how much he’s raised,
including his potential and current GOP opponents. We can’t show any sign
of weakness. And I can’t lose this competition 😅
