It's no secret that campaigns are expensive. It's not uncommon to see colleagues spending as much time on the phone hunting donors as they do focusing on legislating, just to keep up.

I like doing things a bit differently. I was elected to serve, and I'm not slowing down on my work in Washington. Issues like building more affordable housing, protecting consumers from being gouged, and yes, protecting our democracy are all too important.

That makes your support around these deadlines SO critical.

A single donation of $3 might sound like a drop in the bucket compared to millions from a super PAC. But when you chip in, someone else reading this email might decide to as well. These contributions can really add up in a big way.
