fresh pile of leaves, hiking in a national park, or sitting outside with friends
and family, don’t let the season pass by without adding one important item to
your fall pastime list: working to protect public lands. From national parks and monuments, to national wildlife refuges, wilderness
areas, seashores, and forests, our public lands benefit all of us in many ways.
Yet despite overwhelming nationwide support for protecting these irreplaceable
treasures, the Trump administration is continuing to threaten public lands and
attempting to sell them off to the highest bidder.  Public lands protect natural ecosystems and safeguard habitats, migration
routes, and breeding grounds for thousands of different species. They mitigate
climate change, sustain our clean water sources, and provide recreation
opportunities that drive local economies. And they’re historically and
culturally significant, protecting sites that are sacred to Tribal and other
communities. These lands are too important to lose — for now and for future
generations. Spread the word about protecting public lands and clean water to your friends,
family, and community with the LCV Shop! GO TO SHOP [link removed] [link removed] [link removed] [link removed] This email was sent to [email protected].
