Governor Evers is right — government should work better for working people.

But thanks to the GOP, Washington is leaving Wisconsin behind. The bill passed by Republicans will kick 270,000 Wisconsinites off of their BadgerCare thanks to the cuts in Medicaid and increase the price of health care for a family of four by nearly 160%.

Rural hospitals that are a lifeline for people who are already living in care deserts are at risk. Around 43,000 people, many of whom are children, could lose access to food safety nets. And household energy costs could increase by 6% — making your bills even higher.
