This is a question Keir Starmer is going to ask you more and more. Unless you stop him by…
Dear John,
Keir Starmer wants to force you to have a Digital ID. And if you don’t, you won't be able to do many of the everyday things we take for granted.
Don't think the government should have that kind of power? Back the campaign to stop Digital IDs today.

This isn’t just a mobile phone application.
It’s overreach.
And its overreach from a government already reaching far too much into our everyday lives.
They’re arresting people for tweets.
They’re blocking access to websites and content they don't want you looking at.
Now they want to stop you getting a job or a house, unless you carry digital identification.
And let’s be honest, we know it won’t end there.
People are worried. And I don’t blame them.
But you can stop Keir Starmer’s plans by backing this petition today.
Keir Starmer’s plan for Digital IDs goes against what it means to be British.
But it’s more than that.
In the days of sophisticated cybercrime, and a government machine already doing too many things badly – how can we trust the government to keep our information safe?
We can’t.
Labour say IDs will stop people from getting a job or a house when they shouldn’t.
But they’re wrong. These checks are already being made.
And at a time when Labour say we don’t have enough cash to give hardworking families tax cuts. Keir Starmer seems to have found cash behind the sofa to place more controls on our everyday lives.
So let’s stop this.
If you don’t want to see mandatory ID cards, or if you think this money could be better spent – back the campaign today.

Together, we’ve made Keir Starmer back down before.
Over 330,000 people backed our campaign to save Winter Fuel Payments. Keir Starmer U-turned.
We worked with victims and campaigners to force Keir Starmer to U-turn on a national inquiry into the Grooming Gangs.
So together, let’s make Keir Starmer U-turn again. Back the campaign to stop Mandatory Digital ID cards today.
Yours sincerely,
