As one of the first Native American women elected to
Congress, I
know firsthand just how much representation matters.
For far too long, our Native relatives — and the crises in our communities
— have been ignored by those in the halls of power.
That time is over. I’m running for Governor of New Mexico, and I would be the first
Native woman to serve as governor in the United States. Across the country
in Minnesota, my friend Peggy is running to serve as the first Native
woman in the U.S. Senate.
It’s going to be a long road but we can do it together. [ [link removed] ]So I’m asking:
Will you split a contribution to my campaign and Peggy’s today to make
history?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your split
donation to Deb Haaland and Peggy Flanagan will go through immediately:

Our power comes when all communities — including the Indigenous
communities across this country — are truly represented in the Senate.
Peggy’s Anishinaabe name, Gizhiiwewidamookwe, means ‘speaks in a loud and
clear voice woman.’ I know she’ll use that voice to fight tooth and nail
for Minnesotans.
[ [link removed] ]Peggy is the trailblazer we desperately need. Split a contribution
between her campaign and mine to ensure the Senate represents all
Americans and help elect the first Native woman governor. →
Be fierce,
Deb Haaland
