We’re emailing because national Republicans are once again attacking
James, and we need to fight back. The NRSC, the official campaign arm of
Senate Republicans, is doing all it can to tear him down.

The timing is no coincidence. They see how fast our movement is growing.
They did not expect people to show up like this for a Democrat in Texas.

National Republicans want to stop us. And they know that right now is
their best chance to slow our momentum — just 4 days before our first
Federal Elections Commission (FEC) fundraising deadline.

This is what’s broken in Washington. Politicians tearing each other down
and trying to divide the rest of us because they cannot win on their own
ideas. They fight to uphold the broken status quo that their corporate and
billionaire mega-donors profit from.

But the people are far more powerful. If everyone reading this pitched in
even $10, we’d be on track to build the largest grassroots campaign in
Texas history. We’d be one step closer to taking back Texas and the Senate
majority.
