Dear Neighbor,
Due to the potential of a federal government shutdown, I unfortunately have to postpone my annual Senior Fair that was scheduled for Friday, October 3rd.
I am happy to share that we have a new date: Thursday, November 13th, from 9:00 AM to noon at Pico Park, 9528 Beverly Blvd, Pico Rivera. I look forward to seeing you there and continuing this important tradition of connecting seniors in our community with the resources and services you deserve.
At this year’s Senior Fair, you’ll be able to:
- Take advantage of free health screenings to help you stay on top of your health.
- Get one-on-one assistance with Medicare, Social Security, and Veterans benefits.
- Connect with local organizations that offer programs and services designed to make life easier and more affordable.
- Learn about new resources available to seniors in our community.
This event is completely free and open to the public. No RSVP is required just bring yourself, a neighbor, or a loved one. Free parking and transportation will be available from senior centers within California’s 38th Congressional District.
I host this Senior Fair every year because I believe strongly that our seniors should never feel like they have to navigate important programs and benefits alone. This is my way of making sure you get the information and support you need all in one convenient place.
