When I support bills in Congress, I do it with several things in mind: the families in our communities, my mother who went 16 years uninsured and the stress that even a simple cold would bring, and my constituents who just want to know they can take their kids to the doctor without going broke.

Senate Democrats are fighting back to reverse these devastating cuts and extend tax credits to make health care affordable, but Republicans are pushing to pass their budget bill without any of these protections.
