We now have an absolute majority of countries on board the treaty,
recognising that their power together can push the nuclear armed
states to end the nuclear threat for good.
This would not have been possible without the ongoing and dedicated
efforts of our campaign partners, who have worked tirelessly to raise
awareness about the treaty and make sure the relevant decision-makers
understood the benefits of getting on board.
This treaty now has 74 states parties and 95 signatories (four
countries acceded to the treaty without signing). It includes five of
the most populous countries on earth: Indonesia, Nigeria, Brazil,
Bangladesh and Mexico.
