Our next Signature Dinner Series discussion will be taking place in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday, October 9th starting at 6pm. We look forward to featuring Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, former Congressman Joe Walsh, former Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, and former Mesa, Arizona Mayor John Giles. Our program — Freedom in the Balance: Checking Power, Protecting Liberty — will bring together a mix of national, state, and community leaders for an evening of discussion about the challenges facing our democracy. We are headed to Raleigh, North Carolina for an engaging discussion on the challenges and opportunities facing our democracy today. This event will feature retired North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Robert Orr, former Congresswoman Barbara Comstock, and Duke Law School Professor Shane Stansbury, offering unique perspectives on the rule of law, governance, and civic responsibility. Join Principles First at the Barn Resort in Gettysburg, PA for an engaging discussion on the "Guardrails of Democracy: Civilian Authority, Military Neutrality." We'll be joined by former Congressman Conor Lamb, retired Lieutenant General Mark Hertling, former Congressman Joe Walsh, and national security expert and former DHS Chief of Staff Miles Taylor for a conversation on protecting democracy by ensuring accountable civilian leadership and maintaining the armed forces as a neutral institution.
