Tomorrow is Independence Day, and even though life in America looks a lot different these days, there is still so much to celebrate.

Whether you are observing at home or gathering with family and friends, I hope you will join me in safely honoring our country, our independence, and our freedom.

As we observe July 4th during a pandemic, it is more important than ever to stay safe during this years' celebrations. Even as our country and state begin to reopen, COVID-19 is very much still a threat.

So, if you're headed to a barbeque, parade, or gathering, make sure to wear a mask and practice social distancing whenever possible. Keep washing your hands, avoid touching your face, and stay home if you feel sick.

Together, we can stay healthy while still celebrating all of the things that make our country what it is.

America is free because of the huge sacrifices of those who came before us.

Now, it's our duty to make small sacrifices to keep our country -- and all of our loved ones -- safe.

Please enjoy your weekend, and stay safe and healthy.

Happy Independence Day!

Thank you,

Dr. Al Gross

In these uncertain times, it's never mattered more to send a doctor to Washington who can take on the failed status quo and deliver a real prescription for change.
