These last several months have been tough. I’ve heard so many stories from folks back home in the district – worried about their health care, rising costs, and the future of our country.

In Congress, I’ve made it a point to demand accountability from this administration and my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. We must keep working against the MAGA agenda.

As you can imagine, national Republicans aren’t so happy with people like me who are taking a stand. It’s why the NRCC is already airing baseless attack ads against me, and why I have a challenger with the full might of the GOP machine behind him.

While the midterm elections are over a year away, we’re making preparations now for the battle to come. I was one of only a handful of Democrats who flipped GOP-held seats in November, and that makes me one of the most at-risk incumbents in Congress.

There is hope: I’ve seen the power of this grassroots movement before. It’s how we were able to flip this seat, and why I’m able to work to get results in Washington.
