Every now and then, John, I think about this quote from civil rights lawyer Matthew Segal:

“When companies or institutions cave to Trump despite the law being on their side, they are not misunderstanding the law; they are making educated guesses that the U.S. is heading in a direction where, in practice, the law won't matter.”

I’m not sharing these words to “shame” some of these groups for their choices, even if I know they’re wrong. But instead, this is a reminder that there is no grand billionaire coming to save us from Trump’s fascist ideas.

We are what we’ve got. And John, as long as we stay vigilant and together, I know we can turn the tide.

Here in CA-30, we need to do our part in the shared fight to retake the House from MAGA extremists. We can do this, but only if we stand together during key moments -- like our critical deadlines.
