The GOP is playing dirty in a feeble attempt to retain its House majority.

In Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott helped redraw the state’s congressional map, introducing five (yes, five) new districts, all of which are deeply favorable for Republicans.

In Missouri, GOP legislators followed suit, approving a new congressional map that will likely help Republicans win a seat currently held by a Democrat.

It’s clear the GOP is running scared ahead of next year’s midterms, but the unfortunate reality is that Democrats now have a steeper hill to climb to reclaim the House majority.
