In Jebel Marra, a remote mountainous region in Darfur, Sudan, towns like Sortoni, Rokero, and Kass have been cut off from adequate assistance and neglected by aid actors for over two years since the war began between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces. Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been working to provide medical care to communities in hard-to-reach areas. “We cross mountains to support people who live in isolation and face difficulties accessing basic health care services after years of neglect and conflict,” says Resit Elcin, MSF’s project coordinator in Kass.
We need your support to meet this critical moment. Your triple-matched gift will have three times the impact for people in need of medical care in Sudan and beyond. Rush your donation today.

More than half of the people in Ukraine are facing mental health troubles due to the war. Veteran Oleksandr Zelenii was seriously injured during a double explosion in Ukraine’s Luhansk region. He lives with a traumatic brain injury, sleep disorders, memory loss, and symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Zelenii now receives mental health and psychological support from MSF.
“After years of rehabilitation and consistent MSF psychological support, I feel more balanced and calmer," Zelenii says. “I’ve even applied for a new job, where I can work as a peer supporter—because I believe I’m ready to share my experience and help others on their recovery journey.”
MSF is able to respond in conflict zones and deliver high-quality care to patients like Zelenii thanks to our donors. Make a triple-matched gift to power our lifesaving work in more than 75 countries at a moment when your generosity can go three times as far.

Hassan, a father from Afurow village, tragically lost his wife during childbirth at home due to a lack of resources needed for a safe birth. Hassan struggled as a single caregiver to a newborn son who soon fell critically ill. After two months of his son’s deteriorating health, Hassan learned of MSF’s free services in Baidoa.
“He had diarrhea and vomiting, and medicines from local pharmacies didn’t help,” Hassan recalls. “I borrowed about $130 and traveled around 90 miles to reach Baidoa Hospital,” he explains. What began as a desperate situation has turned into hope, as his son is receiving essential treatment and nutritional care—all free of charge. Thanks to supporters like you, MSF has been supporting Bay Regional Hospital since 2017, providing emergency obstetric, neonatal, pediatric, and nutritional care.
As humanitarian aid cuts continue to threaten health care in the places we work, MSF’s independent medical care is more urgent than ever. Help us meet this moment by rushing your triple-matched gift to help deliver medical care where it’s needed most.
